NAMED CEO OF THE YEAR
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL—JULY, 2007— For the second time in the past
three years, RCC Associates President and CEO Beverly Raphael has
been honored as South Florida CEO of the Year in the Business Woman
of the Year Awards.
The annual awards program, hosted by the South Florida Business
Journal, was presented this year by Rachlin Cohen and Holtz.
Raphael, who was honored in 2004 at CEO of the Year, succeeded her
late husband, Richard, in 1998, and has taken RCC Associates to new
heights of success in just eight years, growing the business from
$19 million to over $84 million in 2006 with revenues expected to
reach close to $100 million in 2007.
RCC, which added a restaurant division a several years ago, had
primarily been known for its retail construction assignments. Today,
more than 50 percent of the company's revenues are restaurant based,
though RCC continues to add new internationally recognized retail
and restaurant brands including, The Limited Brands, Express,
Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works, Ruth’s Chris, Grand Lux
Café, Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano’s, Morton’s, Benihana, Sport’s
Authority, Apple Computer, Bank Atlantic, Chili’s, Carpaccio and
many more.
RCC Associates, which has built more than 1,000 projects
coast-to-coast over the past quarter century, is regarded as one of
the nation’s premier buildout contractors. Their award-winning
