Associates ---- Intern Program
In conjunction with the Academic Regimen of the University of Florida Rinker
College of Construction, RCC Associates is proud to initiate an internship program.
This program is designed to enhance the student's construction knowledge by offering
hands-on experience in the working environment, supplemental to the college curriculum.
RCC's program will introduce the intern to each department within the company,
including; marketing, estimating, project management , accounting and field supervision.
The first day of internship the company will provide the intern with an over-view
of the company and its operations. The intern will then spend a few days with
each department within the company, under direct supervision of a designated
team member. The intern will be exposed to the individual departments, and how
they contribute to the company as a whole.
Once the orientation has been established, the intern will then be assigned to
the field, or office, depending on the student's interests and RCC's current
needs, in order to complete the work experience.
As the internship is nearing completion, the student will be asked to
summarize the internship experience in writing.
Providing the internship is a positive experience, the student will have the
opportunity to become a preferred candidate for continuing employment with RCC.
